Our current club has its origins in 1975 when – for the first time ever in the Kortrijk region – an ice hockey club was founded under the euphonious name “The Ice Choppers”. Shortly after its foundation, the club’s name was changed to “The Jets Gullegem”. In the 1990s – a few years after its foundation – the club immediately achieved some successes in the competitions in which it entered.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1679608726237{margin-bottom: 25px !important;}”]<\/p>\n
[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1679608561379{margin-bottom: 44px !important;}”]The move from Gullegem to Kortrijk in 2019 resulted in a new name, HC Kortrijk Spurs. Not only the name of the club was changed, but also the management and functioning of the club was completely renewed.
