The history of our club
Our current club has its origins in 1975 when – for the first time ever in the Kortrijk region – an ice hockey club was founded under the euphonious name “The Ice Choppers”. Shortly after its foundation, the club’s name was changed to “The Jets Gullegem”. In the 1990s – a few years after its foundation – the club immediately achieved some successes in the competitions in which it entered.
